My profession means everything to me. Since I was a child, I had always dreamed of becoming a dentist. I loved going to the dentist, and I want you to have the same positive, comfortable experience with me. It is beyond rewarding to get the opportunity to change peoples’ smiles and improve their confidence.
I understand what it feels like to dislike your smile. I went from never wanting to show my teeth when I smiled to not being able to stop smiling! It is so important to feel comfortable in your own skin, and I want to help you love your teeth and how you look when you smile.
Education and Continuing Education
I am a native Houstonian and received a Bachelor of Science from Texas A&M University—Gig ’Em! Following my undergraduate education, I received a Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the University of Texas School of Dentistry in Houston. I am an active member of the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and Ninth District Dental Society.
Along with the team at Dental Associates, I am committed to staying current with the latest technological advances and techniques in order to provide the best possible services to my patients. Most recently, I’ve advanced my training in Fastbraces®, aesthetic dentistry, and cutting-edge dental materials. My goal is to meet my patients’ needs beyond their expectations.
Outside the Office
My husband is also a dentist; we met in high school and have been together ever since. We went to Texas A&M University together as well as dental school. I love that we are so passionate about the same career. We might talk about dentistry a little too much at home, but I am so glad I can share how my day was with him and he completely understands! We never get tired of talking about dentistry; I do not see how we ever would.
When we’re not at work or talking about dentistry, we enjoy spending time with family, watching movies, going to my family lake house in Austin, Texas, and spoiling our two dogs that we love and treat like children!
I am passionate about making a difference in people’s lives, both in and out of the office. I am involved in several community service organizations, including the Texas Mission of Mercy and Give Kids a Smile, both of which provide free dental care to people in underserved communities.
